2 Amazing

  • 1. Texas women have an amazing sense of purpose when they lose it. They're the best girls in the world – they're loyal and fun but when they get mad they'll try to kill you.

  • 3. When we'd suggested doing it the Theatre Royal management had said 'Nobody wants to see Waiting for Godot.' As it happened every single ticket was booked for every single performance and this confirmation that our judgment was right was sweet. Audiences came to us from all over the world. It was amazing.

3 Anger

  • 1. I drank for about 25 years getting over the loss of my father and I took the anger out on myself. I did a good job at beating myself up at sometimes. I don't drink anymore but my alcoholic head occasionally says different. 'Nil By Mouth' was a love letter to my father because I needed to resolve some issues in order to be able to forgive him.
  • 2. Obama and his attack dogs have nothing but hate and anger in their hearts and spew it whenever possible.
  • 3. There's a lot of bitterness there's a lot of anger out there. We all have to work hard to heal those wounds.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Last week the House of Representatives passed a resolution honoring the victims and heroes of September 11th. As we commemorate the anniversary of 9-11 we must also remember that the threat is still very real today.
  • 2. Married people from my generation are like an endangered species!
  • 3. We can't forget what happened on May 4th 1970 when four students gave up their lives because they had the American constitutional right of peaceful protest. They gave up their lives. And to sing that song in that spot on that anniversary was very emotional for us.

5 Architecture

  • 1. To create architecture is to put in order. Put what in order? Function and objects.
  • 2. Less is more.
  • 3. I like to play with architecture! It's my favorite game.
