These days too many of us seem inclined to cover our ears close our eyes and blindly follow the most narrow conservative tenets of religion or else seek comfort in the ancient traditions of New Age ritual.

There is no age height or weight requirement to skate. It is good exercise no matter what your age is. If you want to be competitive most start young. But I practice with many adult competitors.

1 Age

  • 1. It is not well to make great changes in old age.
  • 2. To be told that one can be dependent on one's parents until age 26 should strike a young person who wants to grow up as demeaning not as something to celebrate.
  • 3. I think that everyone at any age should ask themselves 'where do I want to be today where do I want to be tomorrow and where do I want to be in a hundred years?' 2 Amazing

3 Anger

  • 1. I had a lot of anger because I wasn't happy with the way I had been raised.
  • 2. The reason why I love people and writing about them is because they don't always respond with hate and anger. If they did I wouldn't have a story to tell. Who wants to know about someone who was brutalised and became brutal? I'm interested in the exceptions.
  • 3. Growing up in a particular neighborhood growing up in a working-class family not having much money all of those things fire you and can give you an edge can give you an anger.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Marriage is an act of will that signifies and involves a mutual gift which unites the spouses and binds them to their eventual souls with whom they make up a sole family – a domestic church.
  • 2. I didn't make my first solo record until 1981 so I don't have any 60's or 70's recordings but I am working on a large boxed set called DUST to be released next year the 20th anniversary of my first solo record.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Post-Modernism was a reaction against Modernism. It came quite early to music and literature and a little later to architecture. And I think it's still coming to computer science.

  • 3. There was an age however when the transition from savagery to civilization with all its impressive outward manifestations in art and architecture took place for the first time.
