2 Amazing

3 Anger

  • 1. I'm not angry I'm not an angry person but I do sometimes like playing with the perception of anger as in pretending that I'm more angry than I actually am and sometimes it works quite well.
  • 2. Violence is a problem we all want to solve. I want to make sure that kids learn to deal with anger by learning how to talk with people to solve problems. Here in the United States Senate I want to make sure we have safe schools safe neighborhoods and good things for kids to do after school!
  • 3. It's usually a big kind of vent of frustration or anger or sadness that puts me in the right frame of mind to write. It's such a cliche to say that artists write when they're down but it's true for me. It's a relief to get out what's eating away at my heart or my soul or my head.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. 1 month ago the American people stopped to remember the third anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq war. We thought first and foremost of the selflessness patriotism and heroism by our troops our National Guard and Reserves.
  • 2. I think you have to be willing to take a bullet for somebody if you're going to stand up there take your vows and be married to them for the rest of your life.
  • 3. Marriage is the most natural state of man and… the state in which you will find solid happiness.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Architecture is involved with the world but at the same time it has a certain autonomy. This autonomy cannot be explained in terms of traditional logic because the most interesting parts of the work are non-verbal. They operate within the terms of the work like any art.
  • 2. Not many architects have the luxury to reject significant things.
  • 3. The English light is so very subtle so very soft and misty that the architecture responded with great delicacy of detail.
