  • 1. Situational unawareness in the private marketplace or on the battlefield will cost you your livelihood or your life. In the Age of Obama however such willful ignorance is a job prerequisite. The less you know the better.

3 Anger

  • 1. Holding on to anger resentment and hurt only gives you tense muscles a headache and a sore jaw from clenching your teeth. Forgiveness gives you back the laughter and the lightness in your life.
  • 2. I know of no more disagreeable situation than to be left feeling generally angry without anybody in particular to be angry at.
  • 3. In our daily life we encounter people who are angry deceitful intent only on satisfying their own needs. There is so much anger distrust greed and pettiness that we are losing our capacity to work well together.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Both the Obama and Romney campaigns said they pulled all their political ads today in observance of the September 11th anniversary. But politics wasn't very far offstage. The Obama campaign sees foreign policy as an advantage this year.
  • 2. A lot of good love can happen in ten years.
  • 3. Marriage is the most natural state of man and… the state in which you will find solid happiness.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Architecture should speak of its time and place but yearn for timelessness.
  • 2. Of course I know very little about architecture and the older I get the less I know.
  • 3. I would fix other people's lines if they asked me on occasion. The hard part of writing is the architecture of it getting the story and structuring it. Not the tweaking of lines.
