1 Age

  • 1. Education is the best provision for old age.

2 Amazing

  • 1. When we're on set we kind of joke around and when we're rehearsing we change up the scenes and make each other laugh. We lighten up the mood. The blooper reel is going to be amazing on 'New Moon.'
  • 2. It was said Daredevil grew up in Hell's Kitchen an amazing name for a neighbourhood. But that opened a Pandora's box of all the crime stuff I wanted to do. I borrowed liberally from Will Eisner's 'The Spirit' and turned 'Daredevil' into a crime comic.
  • 3. But I'm trying not to be cynical – I don't want to be one of those people who has a cool opportunity and blows it. It's really amazing what's happening to me.

3 Anger

  • 1. An angry man opens his mouth and shuts his eyes.
  • 2. I'm not angry I'm not an angry person but I do sometimes like playing with the perception of anger as in pretending that I'm more angry than I actually am and sometimes it works quite well.
  • 3. I use the music to vent and a lot of the stuff that I am writing about or was writing about contained a lot of anger and anxiety stress and depression so that's how the album came out so dark.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I feel there should have been some recognition of the Spice Girls at this year's 25th anniversary. We flew the flag for Britain around the globe in the 1990s and we achieved a hell of a lot.
  • 2. Marriage is an alliance entered into by a man who can't sleep with the window shut and a woman who can't sleep with the window open.
  • 3. I was always very grateful to 'em and am grateful to 'em now. I went back a couple of years ago and did their 20th anniversary show. But the longer I stayed on Hee Haw the worse things got for me musically.

5 Architecture

  • 1. But I absolutely believe that architecture is a social activity that has to do with some sort of communication or places of interaction and that to change the environment is to change behaviour.
  • 2. Great buildings that move the spirit have always been rare. In every case they are unique poetic products of the heart.
  • 3. The greatest advances of civilization whether in architecture or painting in science and literature in industry or agriculture have never come from centralized government.
