The rest of the world cares about how we conduct our affairs because they then take that lead. We're the only leader in the world today. Some are wishing us well others think that we're down and are not going to get back up again but they are all watching with great interest to see how we conduct our business over the next couple of years.

5 Architecture

  • 1. No architect troubled to design houses that suited people who were to live in them because that would have meant building a whole range of different houses. It was far cheaper and above all timesaving to make them identical.
  • 2. I've never owned an Apple product. I like the fact that PCs are open architecture and not locked down like Apple products. I feel that Macs are also unjustifiably overpriced.
  • 3. Rationalism is the enemy of art though necessary as a basis for architecture.
