1 Age

  • 1. The idea of regretting not doing this seemed insane to me. Sitting in the corner at a bar at age 60 saying: 'I could've been Bond. Buy me a drink.' That's the saddest place I could be. At least now at 60 I can say: 'I was Bond. Now buy me a drink.'
  • 2. I'm not afraid of aging.
  • 3. I basically started playing violin at the age of six. That lasted about three years because my previous teacher died and the second teacher didn't really know how to successfully get me going.

2 Amazing

  • 1. To go to the Oscars for Moneyball – that was pretty amazing. And to be able to go work with Kathryn Bigelow – that's going to be pretty sweet. Hopefully I don't have to go back to being a waiter. That's still my main goal.
  • 2. Usher is amazing. He's perfection to me as a performer. He gets down.
  • 3. It's amazing that this is still news to people but that affects the final outcome of the film. When people are treated well and they're made to feel valued they give 110 percent.

3 Anger

  • 1. Anger is a wind which blows out the lamp of the mind.
  • 2. Never do anything when you are in a temper for you will do everything wrong.
  • 3. The Anger Management Tour was another beautiful thing. I loved that tour.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Why does a woman work ten years to change a man's habits and then complain that he's not the man she married?
  • 2. I did that Dior Couture 60th anniversary show in July. It took so long to get ready I think I would have rather been watching.
  • 3. But to sustain a marriage for 50 years you have to get real a little bit and find someone who is understanding and who you can grow with. My mom always says 'Marry the man who loves you a millimeter more.'

5 Architecture

  • 1. I have no requirements for a style of architecture.
  • 2. I don't believe in morality in architecture.
  • 3. Opera next to Gothic architecture is one of the strangest inventions of Western man. It could not have been foreseen by any logical process.
