  • 1. Every age yearns for a more beautiful world. The deeper the desperation and the depression about the confusing present the more intense that yearning.
  • 2. I could always sing from a really young age but my voice was really weird. I used to make my mum turn up the radio every day in our house. She was well into music so I got that from her.
  • 3. I basically get stereotyped a lot in terms of being a girl and writing 'chick' music for teenage girls or something. I think if anything the press kind of because of my gender and my age tends to kind of relegate my work to this sort of special-interest group. It's part of the cultural dynamic I guess.

2 Amazing
