  • 1. It seems that when you get to a certain age you almost give yourself permission to misbehave and say what you think. People allow it with very old people.

2 Amazing

  • 1. 'The Dance Scene' is basically the most amazing dance show in the world and it follows me as a creative director. You see how I maintain that creativity.

3 Anger

  • 1. Anger makes dull men witty but it keeps them poor.
  • 2. I do like to write nasty songs. It's a useful weapon to have and it's cathartic as well because I create art out of anger something positive out of something negative.
  • 3. I'm generally quite an angry person and I like to channel my anger toward something creative.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Both the Obama and Romney campaigns said they pulled all their political ads today in observance of the September 11th anniversary. But politics wasn't very far offstage. The Obama campaign sees foreign policy as an advantage this year.
  • 2. See the 'On the Road' that came out in 1957 was censored. A lot of the honesty of it the bitter honesty is in the original scroll version that came out in 2007 on the 50-year anniversary. Back then there was so much post-Second World War fear that was imposed on everybody – 'You must live life this way' – and these guys were bored.
  • 3. We can't forget what happened on May 4th 1970 when four students gave up their lives because they had the American constitutional right of peaceful protest. They gave up their lives. And to sing that song in that spot on that anniversary was very emotional for us.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Every building is a prototype. No two are alike.
  • 2. I love a lot of things and I'm pretty much obsessive about most things I do whether it be gardening or architecture or music. I'd be an obsessive hairdresser.
  • 3. There was an age however when the transition from savagery to civilization with all its impressive outward manifestations in art and architecture took place for the first time.
