1 Age

  • 1. Old age is no place for sissies.
  • 2. At the age of 11 I was about 6 ft. tall and my voice had completely broken. That caused problems. I was this gangly spotty very unattractive kid. I wasn't cool and I wasn't a nerd. I didn't even want to fit in with anyone.

2 Amazing

4 Anniversary

  • 2. The 150th anniversary of Penn State will highlight what is important and good about this distinguished institution and the fine people and research that it produces.
  • 3. And currently there are four to five new works in the pipeline for upcoming celebrations such as the Sydney 2000 Olympics Australian Federation my 50th Birthday and Sydney Dance Company's 25th Anniversary.

5 Architecture

  • 1. I've always liked traveling around Europe and seeing the architecture. The buildings in capital cities have been there for hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years. Some look better than the new ones.
  • 2. For many years I have lived uncomfortably with the belief that most planning and architectural design suffers for lack of real and basic purpose. The ultimate purpose it seems to me must be the improvement of mankind.
  • 3. In any architecture there is an equity between the pragmatic function and the symbolic function.
