  • 3. It's a very difficult thing for people to accept seeing women act out anger on the screen. We're more accustomed to seeing men expressing rage and women crying.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Why does a woman work ten years to change a man's habits and then complain that he's not the man she married?
  • 2. It was very hard for all of us. It's still very hard. The anniversary of his death just passed and every single one of his friends still after all these years… it's unbelievable.
  • 3. Marriage is an alliance entered into by a man who can't sleep with the window shut and a woman who can't sleep with the window open.

5 Architecture

  • 1. First there is the bare beauty of the logs themselves with their long lines and firm curves. Then there is the open charm felt of the structural features which are not hidden under plaster and ornament but are clearly revealed a charm felt in Japanese architecture.
  • 2. Escape from the architecture ghetto is one of the major drivers and has been from the very beginning.
