I don't remember any sibling rivalry growing up because by the time I was really conscious Tom was going away to college. My relationship with him which is a very close one really developed in more recent years.

2 Amazing

3 Anger

  • 3. When I was younger I was terrified to express anger because it would often kick-start a horrible reaction in the men in my life. So I bit my tongue. I was left to painstakingly deal with the aftermath of my avoidance later in life in therapy or through the lyrics of my songs.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Why does a woman work ten years to change a man's habits and then complain that he's not the man she married?
  • 2. As the third anniversary of the September 11th attacks draws near we must ensure our nation is prepared to handle the continued threat of violence and terrorism on our country.
  • 3. I think you have to be willing to take a bullet for somebody if you're going to stand up there take your vows and be married to them for the rest of your life.
