2 Amazing

3 Anger

  • 2. Obama and his attack dogs have nothing but hate and anger in their hearts and spew it whenever possible.
  • 3. Bosnia is under my skin. It's the place you cannot leave behind. I was obsessed by the nightmare of it all there was this sense of guilt and an anger that has become something much deeper over these last years.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Both the Obama and Romney campaigns said they pulled all their political ads today in observance of the September 11th anniversary. But politics wasn't very far offstage. The Obama campaign sees foreign policy as an advantage this year.
  • 2. Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years.
  • 3. We are not the same persons this year as last nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we changing continue to love a changed person.

5 Architecture

  • 1. After World War II great strides were made in modern Japanese architecture not only in advanced technology allowing earthquake resistant tall buildings but expressing and infusing characteristics of traditional Japanese architecture in modern buildings.
  • 2. I strive for an architecture from which nothing can be taken away.
  • 3. We require from buildings two kinds of goodness: first the doing their practical duty well: then that they be graceful and pleasing in doing it.
