2 Amazing

3 Anger

  • 2. Men are fair and they have learned not to personalize anger – they can disagree with you and argue to the bone but afterward they still consider you a nice person with whom the underlying human relationship need not be altered.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Next month I will celebrate my 30th anniversary of marriage with my beautiful bride Vicki. Our marriage has been a blessing. I have gained even more respect for the institution over the past 3 decades and will defend it against attack.
  • 2. Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years.
  • 3. We are not the same persons this year as last nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we changing continue to love a changed person.

5 Architecture

  • 1. As a designer the mission with which we have been charged is simple: providing space at the right cost.
  • 2. I loved logic math computer programming. I loved systems and logic approaches. And so I just figured architecture is this perfect combination.
  • 3. When you look at Japanese traditional architecture you have to look at Japanese culture and its relationship with nature. You can actually live in a harmonious close contact with nature – this very unique to Japan.
