  • 1. Young men soon give and soon forget affronts old age is slow in both.

2 Amazing

  • 3. It was said Daredevil grew up in Hell's Kitchen an amazing name for a neighbourhood. But that opened a Pandora's box of all the crime stuff I wanted to do. I borrowed liberally from Will Eisner's 'The Spirit' and turned 'Daredevil' into a crime comic.

3 Anger

  • 1. I think my passion is misinterpreted as anger sometimes. And I don't think people are ready for the message that I'm delivering and delivering with a sense of violent love.
  • 2. Anger is a short madness.
  • 3. You must never be satisfied with losing. You must get angry terribly angry about losing. But the mark of the good loser is that he takes his anger out on himself and not his victorious opponents or on his teammates.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I feel there should have been some recognition of the Spice Girls at this year's 25th anniversary. We flew the flag for Britain around the globe in the 1990s and we achieved a hell of a lot.
  • 2. Never tell a secret to a bride or a groom wait until they have been married longer.
  • 3. I did that Dior Couture 60th anniversary show in July. It took so long to get ready I think I would have rather been watching.

5 Architecture

  • 1. The dialogue between client and architect is about as intimate as any conversation you can have because when you're talking about building a house you're talking about dreams.
  • 2. I like things that are kind of eclectic when one thing doesn't go with another. That's why I love Rome. The town itself is that way. It's where Fascist architecture meets classic Renaissance where the ancient bangs up against the contemporary. It has a touch of everything. That's my style and that's what my work is about.
  • 3. I'd like to do a lot of things – whether in design or architecture or business.
