I don't think you get to good writing unless you expose yourself and your feelings. Deep songs don't come from the surface they come from the deep down. The poetry and the songs that you are suppose to write I believe are in your heart.

The mystic purchases a moment of exhilaration with a lifetime of confusion and the confusion is infectious and destructive. It is confusing and destructive to try and explain anything in terms of anything else poetry in terms of psychology.

I don't look on poetry as closed works. I feel they're going on all the time in my head and I occasionally snip off a length.

1 Age

  • 1. We tried not to age but time had its rage.
  • 2. I happen to be interested in watching a face age. I like faces of women aging so it makes me personally quite sad. That's a beautiful gift from God. If people don't want to see that anymore then I won't be in anymore movies.
  • 3. Our age knows nothing but reaction and leaps from one extreme to another.

2 Amazing

  • 1. My family is just an amazing melting pot of wonderful religions and faiths.

3 Anger

  • 1. We should meet abuse by forbearance. Human nature is so constituted that if we take absolutely no notice of anger or abuse the person indulging in it will soon weary of it and stop.
  • 2. Wars spring from unseen and generally insignificant causes the first outbreak being often but an explosion of anger.
  • 3. Like fragile ice anger passes away in time.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. The heart of marriage is memories and if the two of you happen to have the same ones and can savor your reruns then your marriage is a gift from the gods.
  • 2. I have for some time urged that a nuclear abolition summit to mark the effective end of the nuclear era be convened in Hiroshima and Nagasaki on the 70th anniversary of the bombings of those cities with the participation of national leaders and representatives of global civil society.
  • 3. Marriage is the most natural state of man and… the state in which you will find solid happiness.

5 Architecture

  • 1. The aesthetic of architecture has to be rooted in a broader idea about human activities like walking relaxing and communicating. Architecture thinks about how these activities can be given added value.
  • 2. Each new situation requires a new architecture.
  • 3. I paint mostly from real life. It has to start with that. Real people real street scenes behind the curtain scenes live models paintings photographs staged setups architecture grids graphic design. Whatever it takes to make it work.
