Let me read you some of my poetry. My poetry just takes me to another level.

Great poetry is always written by somebody straining to go beyond what he can do.

The mystic purchases a moment of exhilaration with a lifetime of confusion and the confusion is infectious and destructive. It is confusing and destructive to try and explain anything in terms of anything else poetry in terms of psychology.

I don't look on poetry as closed works. I feel they're going on all the time in my head and I occasionally snip off a length.

1 Age

  • 1. Pretend to be dumb that's the only way to reach old age.
  • 2. I hope to find the roles that are age appropriate but not yearning to be younger or parenting ad nauseam.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I have a really amazing fan club it's contemporary but it's a little bit old school. There's a lot of connection. I have a fan club president who really responds to people.
  • 2. It's amazing to see places like Madison Square Garden on the schedule again.
  • 3. When I left the show the fans were so amazing in terms of the outpouring of support and continued support all that time whatever ways they could be in touch with me.

3 Anger

  • 1. If a small thing has the power to make you angry does that not indicate something about your size?
  • 2. Anger is the most impotent of passions. It effects nothing it goes about and hurts the one who is possessed by it more than the one against whom it is directed.
  • 3. Anger: an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. We can't forget what happened on May 4th 1970 when four students gave up their lives because they had the American constitutional right of peaceful protest. They gave up their lives. And to sing that song in that spot on that anniversary was very emotional for us.
  • 2. So I think you have to marry for the right reasons and marry the right person.
  • 3. I was always very grateful to 'em and am grateful to 'em now. I went back a couple of years ago and did their 20th anniversary show. But the longer I stayed on Hee Haw the worse things got for me musically.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Architecture arouses sentiments in man. The architect's task therefore is to make those sentiments more precise.
  • 2. As a designer the mission with which we have been charged is simple: providing space at the right cost.
  • 3. The work of art shows people new directions and thinks of the future. The house thinks of the present.
