The poem is a little myth of man's capacity of making life meaningful. And in the end the poem is not a thing we see-it is rather a light by which we may see-and what we see is life. 3 The mystic purchases a moment of exhilaration with a lifetime of confusion and the confusion is infectious and destructive. It is confusing and destructive to try and explain anything in terms of anything else poetry in terms of psychology.
