I find that it isn't wise to attempt to judge people on their public persona and even on the music they make. Because I've met so many people whose music I cannot stand and they're very nice. I think that is what film and art and music do they can work as a map of sorts for your feelings.

I think there are unseen powers who don't want pop music to be anything other than glorified Madonnas.

1 Age

  • 1. After you're older two things are possibly more important than any others: health and money.

2 Amazing

3 Anger

  • 1. Unless and until Barack Obama addresses the full depth of Americans' anger with his full arsenal of policy smarts and political gifts his presidency and worse our economy will be paralyzed.
  • 2. Something my mum taught me years and years and years ago is life's just too short to carry around a great bucket-load of anger and resentment and bitterness and hatreds and all that sort of stuff.
  • 3. Be modest humble simple. Control your anger.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Love grows more tremendously full swift poignant as the years multiply.
  • 2. I feel there should have been some recognition of the Spice Girls at this year's 25th anniversary. We flew the flag for Britain around the globe in the 1990s and we achieved a hell of a lot.
  • 3. We are not the same persons this year as last nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we changing continue to love a changed person.

5 Architecture
