Throughout my 20s I spent a lot of time just playing and not really working but fortunately for me I continued to get just enough work and have a reason to wake up in the morning. I really empathize with some of my peers who had success in the early years then it dries up and so there's no reason to get up in the morning.

On tour I'll get up at 5 p.m. and go to bed at 8 in the morning. With fishing it's the exact opposite. Fishing is the only healthy thing I do. Touring is such a grind it's the opposite of healthy.

2 Amazing

  • 3. I am so excited this year getting to play the 85th Anniversary Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Everyone knows on Thanksgiving morning to get up turn on the TV and watch the parade so to be an actual participant is going to be fun and I'm looking forward to it. I am gonna have to put on my deer hunting gear though to stay warm!
