1 Age

  • 1. Age is not a particularly interesting subject. Anyone can get old. All you have to do is live long enough.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I think you have to be willing to take a bullet for somebody if you're going to stand up there take your vows and be married to them for the rest of your life.
  • 2. Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads hundreds of tiny threads which sew people together through the years.
  • 3. Marriage is an alliance entered into by a man who can't sleep with the window shut and a woman who can't sleep with the window open.

5 Architecture

  • 1. The aesthetic of architecture has to be rooted in a broader idea about human activities like walking relaxing and communicating. Architecture thinks about how these activities can be given added value.
  • 2. Architecture should speak of its time and place but yearn for timelessness.
  • 3. It is not the beauty of a building you should look at its the construction of the foundation that will stand the test of time.
