1 Age

  • 1. Age puzzles me. I thought it was a quiet time. My seventies were interesting and fairly serene but my eighties are passionate. I grow more intense as I age.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I go to Saint Barth in the French West Indies for two weeks each year. That place is amazing. Amazing people beautiful beaches great wine wonderful harbors… It's incredibly romantic.
  • 2. It really lasted the whole game because I was really untouchable unstoppable that game. But it was heightened on one particular play and that was the longest run where everything completely slowed down. My awareness was so keen it was so heightened it was really amazing.
  • 3. I'll always be this crazy fun person but when it's time to get married I'm going to be an amazing wife.

3 Anger

  • 1. Get mad then get over it.
  • 2. When I was younger I was terrified to express anger because it would often kick-start a horrible reaction in the men in my life. So I bit my tongue. I was left to painstakingly deal with the aftermath of my avoidance later in life in therapy or through the lyrics of my songs.
  • 3. As far as having peace within myself the one way I can do that is forgiving the people who have done wrong to me. It causes more stress to build up anger. Peace is more productive.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. And currently there are four to five new works in the pipeline for upcoming celebrations such as the Sydney 2000 Olympics Australian Federation my 50th Birthday and Sydney Dance Company's 25th Anniversary.
  • 2. But to sustain a marriage for 50 years you have to get real a little bit and find someone who is understanding and who you can grow with. My mom always says 'Marry the man who loves you a millimeter more.'
  • 3. 1 month ago the American people stopped to remember the third anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq war. We thought first and foremost of the selflessness patriotism and heroism by our troops our National Guard and Reserves.

5 Architecture

  • 1. I love a lot of things and I'm pretty much obsessive about most things I do whether it be gardening or architecture or music. I'd be an obsessive hairdresser.
  • 2. I probably spent the first 20 years of my life wanting to be as American as possible. Through my 20s and into my 30s I began to become aware of how so much of my art and architecture has a decidedly Eastern character.
  • 3. Even though I build buildings and I pursue my architecture I pursue it as an artist. I deliberately keep a tiny studio. I don't want to be an architectural firm. I want to remain an artist.
