  • 1. Anything you cannot relinquish when it has outlived its usefulness possesses you and in this materialistic age a great many of us are possessed by our possessions.

3 Anger

  • 1. Never go to bed mad. Stay up and fight.
  • 2. The anger that Uncle Junior has comes from my background. My father was the son of an Italian immigrant and I've seen the fire of the Italian temperament. It can be explosive sometimes in ways that are both funny and tragic.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. We are not the same persons this year as last nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we changing continue to love a changed person.

5 Architecture

  • 3. Until the Eighties Oslo was a rather boring town but it's changed a lot and is now much more cosmopolitan. If I go downtown I visit the harbour to see the tall ships and the ferries and to admire the modern architecture such as the Opera House or the new Astrup Fearnley Museum on the water's edge.
