I am not opposed to intelligence reform on its face but any changes should reflect the current context.

It is not government's job to mandate responsibility on our behalf. We have the intelligence and good sense to make wise consumption choices for ourselves and our children. It is up to us to do what is best for our health and our children's health.

1 Age

  • 1. I always thought that I might retire from any form of sexuality by the age of 40 and just become a dignified older person.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I jetset around and play these songs and get to hang with some pretty amazing people then I go home to a really great farm though actually it's a disaster area of a farm at the moment. But it's certainly a blast. I wouldn't trade lives with anyone right now.
  • 2. When you write biographies whether it's about Ben Franklin or Einstein you discover something amazing: They are human.

3 Anger

  • 1. I have to say that anger is the blanket that comes around me and that blunts and blurs my sense of proportion.
  • 2. Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else you are the one who gets burned.
  • 3. When I was younger I was terrified to express anger because it would often kick-start a horrible reaction in the men in my life. So I bit my tongue. I was left to painstakingly deal with the aftermath of my avoidance later in life in therapy or through the lyrics of my songs.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I've been in love with the same woman for forty-one years. If my wife finds out she'll kill me.
  • 2. Next month I will celebrate my 30th anniversary of marriage with my beautiful bride Vicki. Our marriage has been a blessing. I have gained even more respect for the institution over the past 3 decades and will defend it against attack.
  • 3. Never tell a secret to a bride or a groom wait until they have been married longer.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Look architecture has a lot of places to hide behind a lot of excuses. 'The client made me do this.' 'The city made me do this.' 'Oh the budget.' I don't believe that anymore.
  • 2. If you give people nothingness they can ponder what can be achieved from that nothingness.
  • 3. I believe that the way people live can be directed a little by architecture.
