I am not opposed to intelligence reform on its face but any changes should reflect the current context.

It is not government's job to mandate responsibility on our behalf. We have the intelligence and good sense to make wise consumption choices for ourselves and our children. It is up to us to do what is best for our health and our children's health.

  • 1. Well I'm in my 60s now. I finally look it I think. People until I was 60 would always say they thought I looked younger which I think without flattering myself I did but I think I certainly have as George Orwell says people do after a certain age the face they deserve.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I studied voice for about two years with an amazing coach and I never rose above the level of mediocre.
  • 2. When I go outside of L.A. no matter where it is really anywhere I go people will be stopping me or taking pictures or whatever it is. And it's great. It's amazing. I'm just lucky.
  • 3. I think 'Game of Thrones' was extraordinary. I want to do some period pieces. It would be lovely to tell great stories that is my main ambition. And to be working with amazing creators.

3 Anger

  • 1. The one who cannot restrain their anger will wish undone what their temper and irritation prompted them to do.
  • 2. What if you threw a protest and no one showed up? The lack of angst and anger and emotion is a big positive.
  • 3. There is an element of anger among women who've been raped. There's certainly a major element of humiliation. But it really does seem like a medical condition of shock and horror.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Last week the House of Representatives passed a resolution honoring the victims and heroes of September 11th. As we commemorate the anniversary of 9-11 we must also remember that the threat is still very real today.
  • 2. A lot of good love can happen in ten years.
  • 3. Marriage is an alliance entered into by a man who can't sleep with the window shut and a woman who can't sleep with the window open.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Any work of architecture that has with it some discussion some polemic I think is good. It shows that people are interested people are involved.
  • 2. Maybe we can show government how to operate better as a result of better architecture. Eventually I think Chicago will be the most beautiful great city left in the world.
  • 3. Architecture starts when you carefully put two bricks together. There it begins.
