  • 1. I'm totally into new age and self-help books. I used to work in a bookstore and that's the section they gave me and I got way into it. I just loved the power of positive thinking letting yourself go.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I never travel without my Stetson but the more I wear it the more I realise that no one wears hats any more. When I was a kid everybody wore hats especially in Texas but I get off the plane in Dallas now and I'm the only guy with a hat. It's amazing.
  • 2. I love Prince Harry. Good looking and a bit of a rebel. Me and his dad are as thick as thieves and I knew Harry before I knew his dad so we've met a few times. I think he's amazing. And I think you can relate to him because he's made mistakes. He's cool.
  • 3. I spend a good portion of my dinner-party conversation defending America because no matter what the political agenda it's still a fantastic amazing place.

3 Anger

  • 1. I've chosen my wedding ring large and heavy to continue forever. But exactly because of that all the time that Dave and I have an argument I feel it like handcuffs and on anger time I throw it in a basket. Poor Dave he bought me three wedding rings already!
  • 2. The poor monkey quietly seated on the ground seemed to be in sore trouble at this display of anger.
  • 3. My hope is that out of all the anger and seeming hostility that we hear in some of today's music will come some sort of coalition that will become politically involved.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Mom and Dad were married 64 years. And if you wondered what their secret was you could have asked the local florist – because every day Dad gave Mom a rose which he put on her bedside table. That's how she found out what happened on the day my father died – she went looking for him because that morning there was no rose.
  • 2. The bonds of matrimony are like any other bonds – they mature slowly.
  • 3. And currently there are four to five new works in the pipeline for upcoming celebrations such as the Sydney 2000 Olympics Australian Federation my 50th Birthday and Sydney Dance Company's 25th Anniversary.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Post-Modernism was a reaction against Modernism. It came quite early to music and literature and a little later to architecture. And I think it's still coming to computer science.
  • 2. The principle of the Gothic architecture is infinity made imaginable.
  • 3. Of the individual poems some are more lyric and some are more descriptive or narrative. Each poem is fixed in a moment. All those moments written or read together take on the movement and architecture of a narrative.
