1 Age

  • 1. Age gives you a great sense of proportion. You can be very hard on yourself when you're younger but now I just think 'well everybody's absolutely mad and I'm doing quite well'.
  • 2. I've had two romances since moving to Las Vegas. One was with somebody 12 years older than me and the other was the same age and neither worked out. I know people still think of me as one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends and he of course was much older than me but that was a whole different lifestyle and a different kind of dating.
  • 3. I think all writers of my age who are brought up on films probably by the age of 16 have seen many more films than they have read classics of literature. We can't help but be influenced by film. Film has got some great tricks that it's taught writers.

2 Amazing

  • 1. France and the whole of Europe have a great culture and an amazing history. Most important thing though is that people there know how to live! In America they've forgotten all about it. I'm afraid that the American culture is a disaster.
  • 2. What would be a show that I would rescue? If I could bring anything back it would be 'The Carol Burnett Show'. Tim Conway is just… I just watched him so many times do stuff over and over. He's just so amazing.
  • 3. When I performed at 'Open Mic U.K.' I had this connection with the audience that I'd never felt before and I loved it. It was my first big thing and looking out into the crowd… was just amazing.

3 Anger

  • 1. Anger and hate against one we love steels our hearts but contempt or pity leaves us silent and ashamed.
  • 2. Your anger is a gift.
  • 3. Our task of course is to transmute the anger that is affliction into the anger that is determination to bring about change. I think in fact that one could give that as a definition of revolution.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Marriage is a coming together for better or for worse hopefully enduring and intimate to the degree of being sacred.
  • 2. I am so excited this year getting to play the 85th Anniversary Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Everyone knows on Thanksgiving morning to get up turn on the TV and watch the parade so to be an actual participant is going to be fun and I'm looking forward to it. I am gonna have to put on my deer hunting gear though to stay warm!
  • 3. I did that Dior Couture 60th anniversary show in July. It took so long to get ready I think I would have rather been watching.

5 Architecture

  • 1. I don't find Hollywood interesting so I'm thinking of studying architecture instead.
  • 2. To work in architecture you are so much involved with society with politics with bureaucrats. It's a very complicated process to do large projects. You start to see the society how it functions how it works. Then you have a lot of criticism about how it works.
  • 3. When you look at Japanese traditional architecture you have to look at Japanese culture and its relationship with nature. You can actually live in a harmonious close contact with nature – this very unique to Japan.
