3 Anger

  • 1. It is impossible for you to be angry and laugh at the same time. Anger and laughter are mutually exclusive and you have the power to choose either.

On banks I make no apology for attacking spivs and gamblers who did more harm to the British economy than Bob Crow could achieve in his wildest Trotskyite fantasies while paying themselves outrageous bonuses underwritten by the taxpayer. There is much public anger about banks and it is well deserved.
  • 3. That feeds anger and I mean when we went and at last thank heavens got towards peace in Northern Ireland we went for justice within Northern Ireland as well as using security well as well as a political settlement but surely that is the lesson.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. That there's no more important decision in life than who you marry.
  • 2. It is a matter of public shame that while we have now commemorated our hundredth anniversary not one in every ten children attending Public schools throughout the colonies is acquainted with a single historical fact about Australia.

5 Architecture

  • 1. There was an age however when the transition from savagery to civilization with all its impressive outward manifestations in art and architecture took place for the first time.
  • 2. The ancient Romans built their greatest masterpieces of architecture their amphitheaters for wild beasts to fight in.
  • 3. Make big plans aim high in hope and work remembering that a noble logical diagram once recorded will not die.
