Right around the end of the fifties college students and young people in general began to realize that this music was almost like a history of our country – this music contained the real history of the people of this country.

1 Age

  • 1. At an early age I started my own paper route. Once I saw how you could service people and do a good job and get paid for it I just wanted to be the best I could be in whatever I did.

2 Amazing

5 Architecture

  • 1. The dialogue between client and architect is about as intimate as any conversation you can have because when you're talking about building a house you're talking about dreams.
  • 2. The British political system and the whole clapped out Westminster architecture and the language that we use about politics it's completely unsustainable. You either decide to be part of that transition to do something different. Or you cling to old certainties.
  • 3. Not many architects have the luxury to reject significant things.
