2 Amazing

  • 1. I love watching amazing actors and actresses that you can't take your eyes off of because everything they are doing – even if it is just twiddling their thumbs or scratching their eye – it's just interesting.
  • 2. We've always described our sound as a bit more guitar driven than normal pop music. Kind of Pink in a boy band form. We've heard a few people say that so now we use it. I think Pink is amazing person to be compared to.
  • 3. You know when I was a kid waiting on the bus I remember that was when I imagined my life. I imagined everything that I was gonna be when I grew up and I imagined all of these amazing journeys and amazing people I'd meet. Of course all of it has kind of come to fruition.

3 Anger

  • 1. Yeah to me acting is very therapeutic. I get out a lot of anger and frustration.
  • 2. I'm an angry person angrier than most people would imagine I get flashes of anger. What works for me is working out when it's useful to use that anger.
  • 3. I was shocked at the anger toward me.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I didn't make my first solo record until 1981 so I don't have any 60's or 70's recordings but I am working on a large boxed set called DUST to be released next year the 20th anniversary of my first solo record.
  • 2. Actually the year anniversary of what you just heard my son Grahame and I are going to be in a play together and I'm acting for the first time in front of an audience that doesn't consist of a high school drama class.
  • 3. The London games mark the 24th anniversary of my winning two golds and setting the world record in the heptathlon. Someone is going to want it records are made to be broken – it's only a matter of time. I hope mine will outlive me.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Doctrines provide an architecture for both Republican and Democrat presidents to carry out policies.
  • 2. The new architecture of transparency and lightness comes from Japan and Europe.
  • 3. My house is my refuge an emotional piece of architecture not a cold piece of convenience.
