1 Age

  • 1. I was always obsessed with being famous. I had Marilyn Monroe paper dolls as a child and I was always obsessed with her. I've just been really driven in that direction and none of my friends were. So I don't know what put that bug in me at a young age.
  • 2. In the digital age of 'overnight' success stories such as Facebook the hard slog is easily overlooked.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I'm the poster boy for Propecia. It's amazing.
  • 2. I'd love to write something for a male protagonist. That's sort of the next frontier for me. I think it'd be really amazing to write the kind of parts that I love for women but for a guy.

3 Anger

  • 1. We are losing sight of civility in government and politics. Debate and dialogue is taking a back seat to the politics of destruction and anger and control. Dogma has replaced thoughtful discussion between people of differing views.
  • 2. A wonderful emotion to get things moving when one is stuck is anger. It was anger more than anything else that had set me off roused me into productivity and creativity.
  • 3. Every time you get angry you poison your own system.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. This year as we celebrate the 230th anniversary of America's independence please remember the symbols that are sacred to this country. Fly Old Glory high and show your respect and admiration for this great nation and the values we hold dear.
  • 2. My last trip to New Orleans was for the fifth anniversary of Katrina and I had the awesome opportunity to bring my family down. We all worked on a house together and met some of the families.
  • 3. We can't forget what happened on May 4th 1970 when four students gave up their lives because they had the American constitutional right of peaceful protest. They gave up their lives. And to sing that song in that spot on that anniversary was very emotional for us.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Every man's work whether it be literature or music or pictures or architecture or anything else is always a portrait of himself.
  • 2. I paint mostly from real life. It has to start with that. Real people real street scenes behind the curtain scenes live models paintings photographs staged setups architecture grids graphic design. Whatever it takes to make it work.
  • 3. If architecture is frozen music then music must be liquid architecture.
