1 Age

  • 1. It is old age rather than death that is to be contrasted with life. Old age is life's parody whereas death transforms life into a destiny: in a way it preserves it by giving it the absolute dimension. Death does away with time.

2 Amazing

3 Anger

  • 1. The poor monkey quietly seated on the ground seemed to be in sore trouble at this display of anger.
  • 2. The flame of anger bright and brief sharpens the barb of love.
  • 3. You can survive with anger but you can't live with it forever.

4 Anniversary

5 Architecture

  • 1. Georgian architecture respected the scale of both the individual and the community.
  • 2. Color in certain places has the great value of making the outlines and structural planes seem more energetic.
  • 3. Until the Eighties Oslo was a rather boring town but it's changed a lot and is now much more cosmopolitan. If I go downtown I visit the harbour to see the tall ships and the ferries and to admire the modern architecture such as the Opera House or the new Astrup Fearnley Museum on the water's edge.
