2 Amazing

  • 1. Words to me were magic. You could say a word and it could conjure up all kinds of images or feelings or a chilly sensation or whatever. It was amazing to me that words had this power.
  • 2. A police force wherever they are is made up of amazing people and I respect them a great deal.

A lot of people fear death because they think that so overwhelming an experience has to be painful but I've seen quite a few deaths and with one exception I've never known anyone to undergo anything like agony. That's amazing when you think about it. I mean how complicated the mechanism is that's being taken apart.

3 Anger

  • 1. He that would be angry and sin not must not be angry with anything but sin.
  • 2. Violence is a problem we all want to solve. I want to make sure that kids learn to deal with anger by learning how to talk with people to solve problems. Here in the United States Senate I want to make sure we have safe schools safe neighborhoods and good things for kids to do after school!
  • 3. The anger of lovers renews their love.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. This year as we celebrate the 230th anniversary of America's independence please remember the symbols that are sacred to this country. Fly Old Glory high and show your respect and admiration for this great nation and the values we hold dear.
  • 2. Marriage is an alliance entered into by a man who can't sleep with the window shut and a woman who can't sleep with the window open.
  • 3. It was very hard for all of us. It's still very hard. The anniversary of his death just passed and every single one of his friends still after all these years… it's unbelievable.

5 Architecture

  • 1. The way of architecture is the quiet voice that underlies it and has guided it from the beginning.
  • 2. Building art is a synthesis of life in materialised form. We should try to bring in under the same hat not a splintered way of thinking but all in harmony together.
  • 3. I went to school for engineering I studied jazz. So I always had this kind of creative side and technical side and I thought architecture might be the way to combine them so I went to architecture school in New York.
