1 Age

  • 1. When I was at school I was in choirs more than anything else from a very young age about 9 years old. And then I started taking drum lessons.
  • 2. Never say never but the thought of electively cutting oneself is beyond my grasp and I also object to it politically. Denying the lines on our faces makes a comment about age and wisdom I don't care to make.
  • 3. Sometimes I think it would be easier to avoid old age to die young but then you'd never complete your life would you? You'd never wholly know you.

2 Amazing

4 Anniversary

  • 1. I feel there should have been some recognition of the Spice Girls at this year's 25th anniversary. We flew the flag for Britain around the globe in the 1990s and we achieved a hell of a lot.
  • 2. I didn't make my first solo record until 1981 so I don't have any 60's or 70's recordings but I am working on a large boxed set called DUST to be released next year the 20th anniversary of my first solo record.
  • 3. There is no more lovely friendly and charming relationship communion or company than a good marriage.

5 Architecture

  • 1. There is a lot of interest in the arts music theatre filmmaking engineering architecture and software design. I think we have now transitioned the modern-day version of the entrepreneur into the creative economy.
  • 2. Architecture is a art when one consciously or unconsciously creates aesthetic emotion in the atmosphere and when this environment produces well being.
  • 3. I would fix other people's lines if they asked me on occasion. The hard part of writing is the architecture of it getting the story and structuring it. Not the tweaking of lines.
