2 Amazing

  • 1. I cannot stress enough that the answer to life's questions is often in people's faces. Try putting your iPhones down once in a while and look in people's faces. People's faces will tell you amazing things. Like if they are angry or nauseous or asleep.
  • 2. You know when I was a kid waiting on the bus I remember that was when I imagined my life. I imagined everything that I was gonna be when I grew up and I imagined all of these amazing journeys and amazing people I'd meet. Of course all of it has kind of come to fruition.
  • 3. To me when a great band is playing together it's amazing for me.

3 Anger

  • 1. No man can think clearly when his fists are clenched.
  • 2. The anger of a person who is strong can always bide its time.
  • 3. The reason why I love people and writing about them is because they don't always respond with hate and anger. If they did I wouldn't have a story to tell. Who wants to know about someone who was brutalised and became brutal? I'm interested in the exceptions.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Never tell a secret to a bride or a groom wait until they have been married longer.
  • 2. Experts on romance say for a happy marriage there has to be more than a passionate love. For a lasting union they insist there must be a genuine liking for each other. Which in my book is a good definition for friendship.
  • 3. I feel there should have been some recognition of the Spice Girls at this year's 25th anniversary. We flew the flag for Britain around the globe in the 1990s and we achieved a hell of a lot.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Architecture is a slow business and city planning even slower.
  • 2. The principle of the Gothic architecture is infinity made imaginable.
  • 3. The rules of navigation never navigated a ship. The rules of architecture never built a house.
