  • 1. The Border Ballads for instance and the Robin Hood Ballads clearly suppose a state of society which is nothing but a very circumscribed and not very important heroic age.

  • 3. I basically get stereotyped a lot in terms of being a girl and writing 'chick' music for teenage girls or something. I think if anything the press kind of because of my gender and my age tends to kind of relegate my work to this sort of special-interest group. It's part of the cultural dynamic I guess.

2 Amazing

  • 1. My method of helping someone is saying 'Wow you look amazing. Let me help you look even better.' I think tearing someone down is an awful thing to do. It has a lasting impression on people.
  • 2. Training in taekwondo for eight years and then being able to do it in a film was pretty amazing.
  • 3. I love the fact we're still on the road. I was born to be a factory worker really so for me the chance to get on stage at Wembley 30 years after we started is amazing.

3 Anger

  • 1. Successful prime-time television of any genre produces some kind of emotional reaction in the viewers. There are a lot of different emotions to tap into. The emotion of the reward of discovery the feeling of righteous anger the feelings of pathos and sadness or sentimentality of being moved by something.
  • 2. In general I was a good kid. It usually took a lot to make me mad. But once I reached the boiling point I lost all rational control. Totally without thinking when my anger was aroused I grabbed the nearest brick rock or stick to bash someone. It was as if I had no conscious will in the matter.
  • 3. If anger proceeds from a great cause it turns to fury if from a small cause it is peevishness and so is always either terrible or ridiculous.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Marriage is the most natural state of man and… the state in which you will find solid happiness.
  • 2. We are not the same persons this year as last nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we changing continue to love a changed person.
  • 3. Presently the Commission for Commemorating 350 Years of American Jewish History has been brought about to encourage and sponsor a variety of historical activities that advance our understanding of the American Jewish experience as it marks this milestone anniversary.

5 Architecture

  • 1. I would've been intrigued by being a film director. I would've been intrigued by politics. I thought about architecture.
  • 2. Every man's work whether it be literature or music or pictures or architecture or anything else is always a portrait of himself.
  • 3. The work of art shows people new directions and thinks of the future. The house thinks of the present.
