  • 2. Age is just a number. It's totally irrelevant unless of course you happen to be a bottle of wine.
  • 3. The answer to old age is to keep one's mind busy and to go on with one's life as if it were interminable. I always admired Chekhov for building a new house when he was dying of tuberculosis.

2 Amazing

  • 1. If we get the capabilities NATO along with the European Union can do amazing things.
  • 2. I got a phone call from Fearne Cotton. It was amazing! I literally couldn't believe it. It was so cool. It was the night before I was going on her show to sing on the 'Live Lounge.' She was so lovely.
  • 3. Since 'Idol' I've gotten used to having an amazing hair and make-up team around me so I'm starting to get picky. I know what I like now and I'm happy to say 'Could we maybe change that?' if I don't like something. I don't yell or anything but I think I could definitely start to act a little diva-ish when it comes to my look.

3 Anger

  • 1. I think we all have a lot of darkness in our bellies. As an actor the challenge of tapping into that reaching down into that sadness or anger is very therapeutic.
  • 2. But one of the hardest things for me to do was to access anger. I could do it on stage. But when I did it on film it was hard for me. That probably has to do with the intimacy of film. And my own personal issues with expressing anger. So I had to learn how to do that.
  • 3. Anger dwells only in the bosom of fools.

  • 3. We had a relationship that lasted 44 years. Herbert and I lived together 10 years before we were married. He always gave me a little heart for whatever anniversary.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Until the Eighties Oslo was a rather boring town but it's changed a lot and is now much more cosmopolitan. If I go downtown I visit the harbour to see the tall ships and the ferries and to admire the modern architecture such as the Opera House or the new Astrup Fearnley Museum on the water's edge.
  • 2. Convinced as I am and as I am from my government that the world needs a new moral architecture over all I believe that this should be the first topic to debate in our world of today ethics moral.
  • 3. A great building must begin with the unmeasurable must go through measurable means when it is being designed and in the end must be unmeasurable.
