At a family's most difficult time I want to make sure at a minimum that they have the very basic of comforts: the ability to grieve their loss privately and the knowledge that their country is grateful for their loved one's sacrifice and service.

I had a really wonderful upbringing. We were a tight family. It was wonderful to grow up with so many siblings. We were all just a year or two apart and we were always so supportive of each other. I learned everything from my older brother and sister and taught it to my younger sisters.

3 Anger

  • 1. Us investigators who went out into the field were faced on occasion with a lot of anger by people saying why has it taken you five or six year to come and see me?
  • 2. It isn't enough just to scream at the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations. We need our political system to start reflect this anger back into 'How do we fix it? How do we get the economy going again?'
  • 3. We should meet abuse by forbearance. Human nature is so constituted that if we take absolutely no notice of anger or abuse the person indulging in it will soon weary of it and stop.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. The day before the anniversary of D-Day we lost a man who was equaled by few and surpassed by none as a leader in the cause of freedom: Ronald Reagan.
  • 2. On this important anniversary we must remember that while we have come a long way in eliminating barriers critical work remains to ensure all Americans can live up to their full potential.
  • 3. That there's no more important decision in life than who you marry.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Escape from the architecture ghetto is one of the major drivers and has been from the very beginning.
