You can't be afraid to put out a fire if you're a fireman. You can't be afraid to be a police officer and carry a gun if you're afraid to get up and go out there. So you've got to put that fear to the side and go out in faith to overcome that.
I haven't lost faith in human nature and I haven't decided to be less compassionate to strangers.

It helps I think to consider ourselves on a very long journey: the main thing is to keep to the faith to endure to help each other when we stumble or tire to weep and press on.
