4 Anniversary

Back then there was so much post-Second World War fear that was imposed on everybody – 'You must live life this way' – and these guys were bored.
  • 3. We are not the same persons this year as last nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we changing continue to love a changed person.

5 Architecture

  • 1. I could have been an architect but I don't think I'd have been very happy. Nearly all modern architecture is a silly game as far as I can see.
  • 2. Architecture is about public space held by buildings.
  • 3. Architecture is the learned game correct and magnificent of forms assembled in the light.
