This is what Abraham Lincoln meant when he said 'In giving freedom to the slave we assure freedom to the free – honorable alike in what we give and what we preserve.'
The law in its majestic equality forbids the rich as well as the poor to sleep under bridges to beg in the streets and to steal bread.
