I feel like in America we don't have a kid problem. You think about all these issues that these kids are dealing with we have an adult problem. We have adults that do not place the priority on our kids to get a valuable education.

1 Age

  • 1. Everybody looks like clones and the only people you notice are my age. I don't notice anybody unless they look great and every now and again they do and they are usually 70.
  • 2. My acting career began at age three and my parents got me into it. I was in a McDonald's commercial.
  • 3. I've had two romances since moving to Las Vegas. One was with somebody 12 years older than me and the other was the same age and neither worked out. I know people still think of me as one of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends and he of course was much older than me but that was a whole different lifestyle and a different kind of dating.

2 Amazing

  • 1. Changing my body has given me the ability to do all these amazing things that I never in a million years imagined I could do.
  • 2. I think Paul Newman had an amazing career. I also love what Tom Hanks has done. He has always made very grounded movies that have something to say. He has found a way to make blockbusters that are about something and that is what I want to do.
  • 3. I knew I'd just done one of the most amazing things that I will ever get a chance to do. Just to be part of a musical that's not your background and to pull it off and to think that we've done something that's really special.

3 Anger

  • 1. I drank for about 25 years getting over the loss of my father and I took the anger out on myself. I did a good job at beating myself up at sometimes. I don't drink anymore but my alcoholic head occasionally says different. 'Nil By Mouth' was a love letter to my father because I needed to resolve some issues in order to be able to forgive him.
  • 2. I've learned that football sometimes was an outlet. It was a way for me to release anger release frustration.
  • 3. I've been trying to learn how to not be so conflicted about things like my own anger. I've always had a place in my music for my anger as a way of compensating for not having a mechanism to express it in my everyday life. So I've been trying to be more true to myself and that helps me to chill out a little bit. But politically uh-uh. No.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. June 2005 is the five year anniversary of the debut of Battle Pope.
  • 2. A lot of good love can happen in ten years.
  • 3. See the 'On the Road' that came out in 1957 was censored. A lot of the honesty of it the bitter honesty is in the original scroll version that came out in 2007 on the 50-year anniversary. Back then there was so much post-Second World War fear that was imposed on everybody – 'You must live life this way' – and these guys were bored.

5 Architecture

  • 1. My interest in architecture has always been sculptural. Most of my photography is of architecture.
  • 2. To provide meaningful architecture is not to parody history but to articulate it.
  • 3. Does it follow that the house has nothing in common with art and is architecture not to be included in the arts? Only a very small part of architecture belongs to art: the tomb and the monument. Everything else that fulfils a function is to be excluded from the domain of art.
