1 Age

  • 1. To resist the frigidity of old age one must combine the body the mind and the heart. And to keep these in parallel vigor one must exercise study and love.
  • 2. In Hollywood you play a mom and the next thing you know you're on 'The Golden Girls.' They age you so fast.
  • 3. Old age believe me is a good and pleasant thing. It is true you are gently shouldered off the stage but then you are given such a comfortable front stall as spectator.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I love to go shopping at Target. They have so much stuff there you can buy almost anything it's really amazing.
  • 2. The last real movie stars were probably Redford and Newman. And things were different then. There wasn't this amazing amount of magazines and information about them.

It's been hyper-sexualized because it's associated with strippers but if you think about it just in terms of other kinds of dancing they're using an instrument to create these amazing dance forms.

3 Anger

  • 1. Get mad then get over it.
  • 2. Speak when you are angry – and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret.
  • 3. In high school I dated a white woman. She would come to visit me on the rez. And her dad who was very racist didn't like that at all. And he told her one time 'You shouldn't go on the rez if you're white because Indians have a lot of anger in their heart.'

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Marriage is the most natural state of man and… the state in which you will find solid happiness.
  • 2. And currently there are four to five new works in the pipeline for upcoming celebrations such as the Sydney 2000 Olympics Australian Federation my 50th Birthday and Sydney Dance Company's 25th Anniversary.
  • 3. We are not the same persons this year as last nor are those we love. It is a happy chance if we changing continue to love a changed person.

5 Architecture

  • 1. Don't clap too hard – it's a very old building.
  • 2. We build buildings which are terribly restless. And buildings don't go anywhere. They shouldn't be restless.
  • 3. Architecture should speak of its time and place but yearn for timelessness.
