1 Age

  • 1. You need some insecurity if you're an actor. It keeps the pot boiling. I haven't yet started to think about retiring. I was shocked when I heard about Paul Newman retiring at age 82. Most actors just fade away like old soldiers.
  • 2. We are in an electronic technology age now and it's about time we put away the old stuff.
  • 3. I'm 36 and if I met a woman of my own age and married her I'd also be marrying her former life her past. It might be OK for some people – I don't want to judge it or anything – but it's not for me. It would destroy my creativity.

2 Amazing

  • 1. I got fitter when I did 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.' I wore a loincloth – that's a lot of motivation!

I read it in one night and I really wanted my company to publish it but we lost it to another house. It's such a wonderful combination of beautiful writing and suspenseful storytelling.

3 Anger

  • 1. A lot of my humor does come from anger. It's like you're not gonna pull one over on me – which is pretty much my motto anyways.
  • 2. What I needed most was to love and to be loved eager to be caught. Happily I wrapped those painful bonds around me and sure enough I would be lashed with the red-hot pokers or jealousy by suspicions and fear by burst of anger and quarrels.
  • 3. The voice of the intelligence is drowned out by the roar of fear. It is ignored by the voice of desire. It is contradicted by the voice of shame. It is biased by hate and extinguished by anger. Most of all it is silenced by ignorance.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. Married people from my generation are like an endangered species!
  • 2. The heart of marriage is memories and if the two of you happen to have the same ones and can savor your reruns then your marriage is a gift from the gods.
  • 3. On this important anniversary we must remember that while we have come a long way in eliminating barriers critical work remains to ensure all Americans can live up to their full potential.

5 Architecture
