3 Anger

  • 1. The voice of the intelligence is drowned out by the roar of fear. It is ignored by the voice of desire. It is contradicted by the voice of shame. It is biased by hate and extinguished by anger. Most of all it is silenced by ignorance.
  • 2. Every child senses with all the horse sense that's in him that any parent is angry inside when children misbehave and they dread more the anger that is rarely or never expressed openly wondering how awful it might be.
  • 3. You can survive with anger but you can't live with it forever.

4 Anniversary

  • 1. My mother and stepfather were married 43 years so I have watched a long marriage. I feel like I had a very good role model for that. And you know it's just a number.

5 Architecture

  • 1. The organizational architecture is really that a centipede walks on hundred legs and one or two don't count. So if I lose one or two legs the process will go on the organization will go on the growth will go on.
  • 2. The bungalow had more to do with how Americans live today than any other building that has gone remotely by the name of architecture in our history.
  • 3. Spiritual space is lost in gaining convenience. I saw the need to create a mixture of Japanese spiritual culture and modern western architecture.
